Martelli Online Store Return Policy & Instructions
Only products purchased by online retail customers are eligible for return. Wholesale purchases or bulk purchases (five or more items with the same UPC number) are not eligible for return.
Shipping Damage Claims
Shipments of damaged products should be refused. If such shipments are accepted inadvertently, you must email Martelli Online Store at sales@martellicatalog.com within the first 24 hours of receipt to report damage and be eligible for a damage claim. This is necessary for Martelli Online Store to file a shipping damage claim on behalf of customers. Martelli Online Store is not liable for any losses when the carrier denies shipping damage claims. Failure to notify Martelli Online Store of product damage within 24 hours of receipt voids all shipping damage claims.
Potentially Defective Products
Many products initially thought to be defective turn out to be configuration or compatibility issues that can be resolved with little difficulty. Please contact us if you believe you have a problem with a product and we can likely help find the right solution. However, if you determine that you have a defective product, all defective product claims should be directed to the manufacturer or warranty provider for evaluation and warranty support. Look for additional warranty information in the product packaging.
Non-Defective Products
Non-defective products can be returned within 15 calendar days of the Martelli Online Store purchase date, but only if returned in original packaging and original condition. Customer may be eligible for partial item refund if return is received in new, unopened, manufacturer condition and can be re-sold. Returned products are subject to shipping costs, restocking charges, or declined returns as outlined below.
Martelli Online Store Fee Schedule for Returned Items
Failure to return products within 15 calendar days from Martelli Online Store purchase date will be deemed to be a permanent acceptance of the product; return is not allowed for any reason after 15 days. The return must ship via FedEx or UPS with a valid RMA and tracking information showing pickup on or before 15 days from the purchase date. Returned items must be received within 10 days of RMA issuance. Returns received after this date will be declined.
Fees
Products returned new, unopened, and in perfect condition--including all packaging, item materials, and manuals—that can be resold as new are subject to a 15% restocking fee plus shipping costs. Products returned with missing items, packaging or accessories that we can replace from our stock are subject to the cost of item or part replacement, plus a 30% restocking fee, plus shipping costs. Products returned opened with missing components, packaging, or accessories, or with problems resulting from customer-use, are not eligible for any refund.
Return Shipping Charges
Customer is responsible for return shipping charges. Customer is responsible for all risk of loss and damage to products being shipped for return. We recommend that you fully insure return shipment in case of loss or damage. Revised: 09/02/10
